Traditional Usui Reiki

Reiki is the practice of channeling energy through the gentle laying-on of hands and through the use of sacred symbols.

Reiki stimulates a person's energy system and may support the body’s ability to heal. It brings inner peace, promotes deep relaxation and radiates a feeling of warmth as it removes energy blocks. Although it is not dependent on a belief system, Reiki awakens personal and spiritual growth. Opening your heart and mind to Reiki may take you on your own personal journey and make your inner life happier by guiding you to your divine consciousness.

Training Seminars

Reiki is easy to learn and anyone can learn it. All that is needed is a sincere desire to learn and trust in the process. By learning Reiki, you can treat yourself and others with love and kindness.  Reiki also benefits animals and plant.

Training seminars are taught by a Reiki master who is a member of the Reiki Alliance. The Reiki Alliance is an association of Traditional Usui Reiki masters, who are able to trace their lineage to Hawayo Takata, the Grand Master successor to Chirujo Hayashi, a direct disciple of Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of the Usui System of Natural Healing.

Reiki Treatment
Students are taught a series of hand positions to give a full Reiki treatment, which begins with channeling energy over the forehead and sides of the temples to balance the right and left sides of the brain and promote relaxation.

Reiki Treatment
Treatment continues along various key points and it ends at the soles of the feet, which connect to the body's nerve pathways and correspond to its vital organs, including the heart, lungs, kidneys, stomach, liver and gail bladder.

There are three levels of Reiki training:

Reiki I: at the first level of training, students receive a series of attunements to remove energetic blockages and open their inner healing channels. They learn to channel Reiki through their hands for self-treatment and the treatment of others. Training usually takes place over a two-day period. Reiki II: at the second level, practitioners receive a deeper attunement. They are taught to access sacred symbols to channel Reiki energy, which extend their healing ability to address psychological and emotional problems, and to give Reiki treatments on distance. The second level of Reiki supports further growth and change. Training is usually completed in one and a half to two days. Reiki III: at the third or mastership level, a practitioner receives a further deep attunement and is trained to attune others and to teach all levels of Reiki.  The Mastership training takes place between the student and master on a one-to-one basis.

Reiki Class

During a class students become aware of their ability to channel Reiki energy by feeling sensations passing through their hands.

A certificate is issued upon the completion of each level.

Classes are held mainly in New York City and may be scheduled in other locations, upon request.

Individual Reiki Treatments

Individual treatments with the first level of Reiki may provide a useful adjunct to conventional medicine. Treatments may support and accelerate the body's natural healing process. Often, they reduce stress and promote deep relaxation.

Individual treatments with the second level of Reiki may remove blockages to inner growth and spiritual development.

NOTE:  Reiki is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. It is a complementary modality that assists in balancing and healing.
